can central heating pump cope

by glangy1 » Fri Feb 29, 2008 5:09 pm

I am doing a conversion of my garage and cannot without much upheaval tap into central heating system from ground level. Would it be to much strain on the pump to tap in to the system at the bedroom above the garage bringing the the pipework down then back up . The boiler is a worcester junior about 2 years old and is on ground floor.

Thanks glangy1

Alot of systems are piped this way - where the pipes come down the wall from upstairs.

Not normally a problem, and can't see any reason why it wouldn't work.
