Can I have a hip roof?

Post by Gavski1 » Wed Jan 18, 2023 2:42 pm

I'm having a front porch and toilet extension built on my house. The builder says I may have a problem with the hip roof because of the dimensions, see pics (3.3m x 1.8m) and the window above it?? I don't want a gabled slope beacause It will look wrong against the house roof (hip). Any ideas or suggestions would be great

Hi gavski1,
I don’t see any reason why you should not have a roof as per your drawing.

Hi Gavski1,

Do share the final product after getting this hip roof. A few days back, I was also planning to get one. I want to see how it would look.
