I would like to build an outbuilding in my garden to use as a photographic studio.
My garden is approx 8m wide and 90m long. In order to get the width I want I will be within the 2m boundary rule under permitted development - i.e. the height of the building can only be 2.5m (may have got the exact numbers wrong, but that's the gist).
Anyway, I would like to have a working height of 4m for the type of photography I do - so can I dig down say 2m so that the outbuilding is 2m above ground and 2m below ground, thus does not break the permitted development height rule from ground level?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
