Can Someone tell me What This Metal Wire Object is for? Ask questions and find answers to many subjects relating to electrics and electrical work

I found a metal wire object in my garden that must have come off a piece of equipment but I cannot work out which of the many pieces of equipment I have it could have come from. Can anyone help?

I would like to post an image but this does not appear possible.

The wire is about 1.5mm diameter. It is about 12cm long with the ends formed into circles - about 1.5cm in diameter at one end and 0.5 cm at the other. In the middle the wire is bent to form a shallow V shape.
If it is possible to post an image can someone tell me how? If not I hope this description is enough.

What makes you think it is electrically related? Unless there is something that it is attached to, how is anyone going to know what it was for? It may be just a securing or safety wire.
