Can't Disassemble Shower Tap

by Stephen Flavell » Sat Oct 06, 2018 3:56 pm

Hi,

My shower tap is leaking.
Unfortunately I don't know the name of the shower tap or have a user guide or, because there are no visible screws, can figure out how to disassemble the tap.
Please see attached photo.

Anyone know what make this tap is or how to go about disassembling it ?
I guessed that the handle is the screw holding the assembly together but haven't been able to turn it.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks, Steve

Unscrew the handle using grips with a rag in between as not to scratch the chrome. When you remove the handle there is usually a little grub screw inside which has a sharp point that digs into the brass ring underneath. Just undo the grub screw and it should pull off.
