Cannot get my GAS Fire light to take...please help

Hi Guys


I have a gas fire - and when i put a lighter in to light the pilot light, i hold down the knob for 30 secs but then the flame goes out

My central heating all works fine??


Please help - Sorry i'm a girly and im like a chocky teapot

Hi Nashy,

Sounds like the thermocouple is broken...... time to get a Corgi in I'm afraid.
