Cannot remove this toilet seat

Post by shumboom » Tue Mar 12, 2024 11:15 pm

Has anyone seen this kind of toilet seat?

This seats fixings are completely hidden. The chrome bits that cover the fixing have no screws. I have tried to prise them off to no avail.

Please help me!

Hi shumboom,
I seem to recall that when fitting this type of seat the brackets with their fixing bolts (which fit in sliding channels on the bottom of the brackets) are fitted on the seat and cover and the complete assembly is then dropped into the holes on the pan and nuts fitted from underneath. So you are going to have to undo the nuts underneath the back of the pan.
Regards, S
