CENTRAL HEATING RADIATORS

by ALANBY » Mon Feb 18, 2008 11:57 am

My C/H SYSTEM IS WORKING OK EXCEPT FOR 2 RADS -1 IN A BEDROOM AND 1 IN A DOWNSTAIRS ROOM ,BOTH ARE COLD. I HAVE TRIED TO BLEED THEM BUT NO AIR COMES OUT JUST WATER. THE INFEED PIPE ON THE DOWNSTAIRS ONE IS HOT BUT THE UPSTAIRS ONE IS COLD.
HELP NEEDED PLEASE!!

* SYSTEM IS ABOUT 25 YEARS OLD WITH A NEW BOILER 10 YEARS AGO. THE FEEDPIPES ARE ABOUT 12 mm.

check both valves are open, try turning off the radiators that are working to see if the 2 problem radiators will come through.

How old is the heating system ? what size pipes supply the radiator ?
