while i was wiring up up the junction box did it wrong(was been harrased by teenager!!!) there was spark and the box tripped. reconnected it properly now no light. tried a new light and new light fitting no luck. any ideas

How many wires in old rose, what colours, do other lights on circuit still all work?, more info please,

4 wires, 2x black red earth, 1x red earth, 1xblack earth, every thing else working fine.

Possible when connecting wrong you got switch across L/N by mistake , it often happens, if so switch may have blown open circuit, try another switch or temp put sw wires into connector together & see if light on, Regards SPARX
