Doing our kitchen just now. The switch mechanism inside the old (1995) xpelair is done and the unit needs replaced. It is a 7inch fan (through wall).
Having looked online there doesn't seem to be any 7inch extractors made for domestic use, with 6inch being the nearest option. Does anyone have any reviews on the best 6inch fans on the market just now as alot of online reviews highlight issues with the fragility and flimsy plastic used in alot of models.
Additionally, I was going to center the 6inch duct inside the current 7inch and pack with expanding foam. Can anyone suggest any better ways of reduce the duct size?
