Hi All
I have been trying for the past 2 hours to get this new tap fitted.
So I am trying to replace a mixer tap in the bathroom, the pipes are in the walls and are no way flexible. The taps came with their own supplied pipe "bits" sorry I have no idea what they are called, any help with terminology is also greatly appreciated.
The only way I can get the two to measure up is to leave one side, slighly untightened, though this means water spits out of where its not quite connected properly when turning the water on.
I cannot for the life of me get the two parts to line up? Is there something I am missing here?
The old tap is the exact same size, however have replaced the pipe "bits" because they are very clogged with limescale etc..., I have also tried attaching this tap to existing "bits" however when turning the water on, water leaked.
I have no idea what I am doing wrong. I thought this was going to be a 5 minute job.
