cls timber for sheds

by old sid » Fri Jul 26, 2013 5:18 pm

I want to build a shed/workshop in the garden on a concrete base. The floor structure will be 6x2 treated timber. Can I use 3x2 kiln dried cls un-treated stud timber for the walls and roof which will then be cladded in exterior ply, as cls timber is cheaper than treated 3x2. With a view to treat by hand if nesscessary.

Thanks. Old Sid.

place dpc on the floor first before fixing down and treat the timber before installing
