Combi boiler cold water booster?

by Kevschofield » Mon May 14, 2007 11:53 am

Hi, can someone advise please? I am having a combi oil fired boiler installed and have been advised that my cold water pressure is JUST ok. The engineer has said that I can have a pressure pump installed that will increase the cold water pressure by 0.8 bar. Should I have that put in anyway just to make sure? I will be running 9 radiators and a shower cabinet off the combi
Appreciate any help anyone can give. ThanX!

You may struggle to get hot water at peak times if you don't get one fitted. Combi's can be very fussy about the incoming pressure, depending on how they sense the demand.
