We have an oak veneered front door which swells up in the winter months - we often can't use it . As a lot of doors are now veneered construction is this a common problem ? Or could the problem be the door frame ?

We used to get the same & was only solve with taking the door off "after marking the rubbing points" & planning it down. We had to fit some draft excluder as well. Been fine ever since. Take a touch more than you think off.
