Concrete base for conservatory

by simonjware » Sat Jul 07, 2007 9:09 pm

I am ready to lay a concrete base for the conservatory and I am sure of all work to be done except one. I have three airbricks/vents what do I do? Do I cover them with base, do i leave an expansion type joint so air can still circulate? My house is a new build 1year old

Hi,you need to continue the air flow to the outside of the conservatory.when you do your oversite concrete use a length of down pipe across the floor and put an air brick in your conservatory wall(you might have to remove a brick if you havnt put one in.
hope this helps,Richard
