Condensation

by artdeco » Fri Feb 06, 2009 3:39 pm

We have just had new double glazing installed at great expense, but the condensation has not improved. Every window in the house has condensation to some degree but our bedroom window is exeptionally bad. I understand the principal behind condensation, but thought double glazing eliminated it.

artdeco,
Fitting new windows will have made the problem worse, you now do not have any ventilation from draughts which would have beeen a feature of the old windows.
You need to get more fresh air into your home and possibly get a de-humidifier in the shorter term.
