i am looking into removing polycarb roof and replacing with a tiled roof.the structure is sound and pillars are in place to take the new timbers.do i need permission or regs just to change material?

Conservatory sections are not designed to carry tiles Chris. They are not strong enough. Take a look at the amount of timber in your roof to see how much strength is required to tile a roof. Please get some advice on site regarding strengthening the roof.
