Constant drip of water inside toilet cistern Drainage and wastage systems and plumbing help, advice and answers

This little pipe is constantly dripping. I’ve tried tightening up various bits but it won’t stop. Any suggestions?

Hi jholden40,
Most likely - the washer in the valve needs replacing.
Less likely - the water level is too high and water is flowing out of the overflow or into the pan.
Possible - if you have a plunger type flush unit the washer on the bottom of it has perished.
