by gerryyy » Mon May 25, 2009 12:54 am

making a storage space in the corner of the room. using a door measuring 1961mm by 762mm. What space do i need to leave for door? would 2 or 3mm right around be enough?

Probably be OK but I'd certainly leave a lot more than that at the bottom considering whatever floor covering you are using.

Its almost inevitable whatever you do that unless you spend a lot of time getting the door casing exactly right that you'll end up trimming the door a little. That shouldn't concern you as its easier to make the dor fit the case than the other way round.

Cheers
