damaged laminate work top

by Raj Patel » Thu Sep 11, 2008 9:29 pm

Dear DIY Doctor,

I have a laminate kitchen work top (L Shaped) fitted with a hob (Electrical) and a circular sink. Unfortunately a hot frying pan was left for a short time on the laminate causing it to lift.

How easy is it to remove the work top and fit a new one ?

Alternatively is it possible to fi a stainless steel skin on an existing work top?

I would appreciate help.

Raj
