I don't if I'm in the correct section, apologies if I'm not.
I'm trying to help an elderly neighbour who has a damp area on her carpet tiles just inside the front door. It's roughly an oval shape about a foot long by eight inches wide. It appears after bad weather, the odd thing is the damp area isn't right up against the door frame but starts an inch or so from the bottom of the door frame. There is a brush style door sweep fitted to the bottom of the door. Many thanks for any help.
