Damp on inner wall

by GajanSingh » Sat Jan 31, 2009 3:34 pm

There is a bedroow (garden-facing) which repeatedly has mould in the corner. The house is semi-detached, and the corner which exhibits the mould is at the end of the house (i.e. it has not adjacent rooms). The mould is heaviest at the top of the corner, and lessens towards the floor. One of the tiles above the mouldy area had come loose...this has been resecured and we repainted the area, but mould has manifested itself again.

What can we do?

GajanSingh,
Assuming someone sleeps in the bedroom, open the window when they are in there. OR buy a de-humidifier with a re-heat facility.
