Damp under kitchen linoleum

by garethwilks » Sun Oct 05, 2008 8:57 pm

Hi,

We have been in our house around 6 months. Over the last couple of days, we have noticed surface water periodically on the kitchen linoleum. We have tried to work out if it is because of an appliance, but can't pin it down as everything seems to be working okay.

There is now a heavy squelching sound when we walk on the linoleum, and there is definitely a lot of water underneath.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what could have caused this, and any possibly solutions?

Thanks to anyone who can help.

:D :D

with that much water it sounds like a water pipe has burst under the floor
or a waste pipe is leaking
