Diagonal tile Advice and information on tiling and fixing tiles to a variety of surfaces

Tiling a kitchen, and woman wants a centerpiece above cooker, sink and up the sides of the window. I'm jus gonna put a tile in diagonal. any tips on how to mark this out? was thinking of putting tiles on, hold tile diagonal on them, take off and cut.

Do what you are suggesting but lay the tiles on a flat surface so you can mark the diamond shape needed.
