Dig up waste buried in concrete for bathroom swap? Drainage and wastage systems and plumbing help, advice and answers

So I am a handyman - for some reason have never done a bathroom, plenty of kitchens but never a full bathroom swap out. Like busses, they've all come along at once. 2 of my regular customers have come back to me and asked for full bathroom swapouts.

The first is a top (4th) floor flat. I've stripped the old gear out. One of the things that concerns me is that the waste for the sink is buried in the concrete floor. There used to be a bidet (this won't be replaced) which also connected into the 32mm plastic waste, buried in the concrete.

The customer is happy for the basin to stay where it was, so I can hide the 32mm pipe protruding from the floor with the pedestal, but the bidet is being removed - there is no way I can see to hide the protruding waste pipe for the bidet. Also I think it will look odd, even though the toilet it moving towards the sink.

Does anyone have any suggestions / experience please? I'm thinking I will have to get an SDS chisel on the cement and replace the waste pipe. Apart from anything else, I'm worried on the impact of this on the flat below.

The pipe is not very deep in the concrete, use and angle grinder to form a channel with width of the waste pipe and fit a new pipe from the bidet position backwards.

Thanks - really appreciate the advice. Hadn’t thought about using an angle grinder. Will do - will post pics / update in case it helps someone else in future..
