Do Building Regs State how Vertical a Column Should be?

Hi, the column that provides support in the garage, between the two doors (doubel garage) has a kink in it! See the attached picture.

Is this compliant with building regs? Its a new build house and I want ot be forearmed for our pre-completion inspection next week.

No, but it has to be structurally sound, and constructed as the plans dictate
