Hi all,
I have an old base for a Conservatory with a DPM installed beneath the screed.
I have now had a cavity wall built around the outside of that base. Due to floor levels etc the DPC on the inner blockwork skin of the wall is approx 70mm ABOVE the floor level of the slab.
What options are available to me?
Could I lay a new DPM on top of my slab and lap up the walls by say 120mm? I intend to raise the floor level by about 35mm anyway, so could I then lay some 25mm foam insulation board and 10mm wood flooring on top. Would that be ok?
Then for the walls, what could I line with? Could I just plaster? Would I have a damp problem?
What could I stick the DPM sheet to the walls with?
Thanks if you can advise.
Gary
