Draining a Primatic Tank Connected to a Rayburn

by johnnyredgate » Sat Mar 07, 2020 10:12 am

I have a nasty oil fired Rayburn that I want to remove, connected to a primatic hot water cylinder. The old radiator circuit has already been removed and blanked off. Is there any reason why I shouldn't drain the cylinder and the heating circuit, remove the rayburn and blank off the pipes, then refill the cylinder and continue using it with immersion heater only? Will there be any problems re-filling the cylinder?
