Hi,
I made a stupid mistake fitting a new toilet. The soil pipe comes out of the floor and when drilling holes for the new toilet's bracket I believe I have drilled a hole in the top of the soil pipe as it runs under the concrete floor.
The hole is in the top of the buried pipe about 2" to the side of where the pipe comes out of the floor. Therefore the water will generally be running along the bottom of the pipe and also swooshing around the corner as it goes from vertical to horizontal.
How much of a problem is this? I really really do not want to rip up the freshly tiled floor and dig down to solve this. It would probably be possible to feel the hole on the inside of the pipe so would some sort of filler, putty applied inside help?
Any advice massively appreciated.
