just getting to grips with my combi boiler after recently moving into my first home. its a ferolli modena 80e,if that helps.just been to tidy the cupboard where it is located and noticed a mag was wet.my first thought was look up. thankfully no leak! but on further inspection and ref to the manual i discovered the ch return inlet had been dripping and still is.it is coming from the pipe itself where the nut is.its not major but constant.what should i do?does it just need tightening or should i get a man in? please help....

Try tightening may just be loose after installation, if that doesn't work, drain the system undo the nut and replace the fibre washer. If you're a competent DIYer, then this should be simple.

Any doubts get an engineer out.
