Dripping overflow

by Lawrence » Sun Jan 27, 2008 4:29 pm

Hi - Recently my overflow from the F&E tank has started dripping. The water level in the tank is well below the overflow level. Is this normal? Presumably it is just condensation.

Is there anything I can do to stop the dripping?

thanks

look in your tank first thing in the morning before anyone uses hot water. Is the level higher than normal? Is the overflow pipe dripping? If the answer to either of these questions is yes then look at the ball valve.[Condensation is an unlikely cause.]

Can some one please advise my expansion tank is overflowing is this a valve problem ? or something more as there seems to be water coming from the swan neck shaped pipe?
