Hello, could anyone advise please? I have double glazed windows with the easy clean hinges. In order to open them for exterior cleaning there is a sliding plastic part which must be depressed and then should slide along inside a groove. However there is a round headed screw in the groove which seems to cause the sliding bit to get stuck.
I'm wondering if the wrong type of screw has been used - ie should it be a countersunk screw? Or am I just not using sufficient force? I'm worried about breaking the plastic slider.
Please could someone advise what is normal with these easy clean hinges? Are round headed screws correct here?
