Very simple question how do I identify which is the mains input pipe?

the mains cold water pipe in the very top pipe, will be 15mm copper. Connected to the ball valves. Should have a stop tap fitted near the tank (not the red wheel head one)

Cheers I can now cut the pipe with confidence,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Now if only they would answer my questions on the electrical side :D
