I've got uncured flashing tape wrapped around a downpipe. This downpipe was not connected properly to the gutter which meant that water (significant amount) was running down it's face when it rained and hitting the top of the tape seams, at the point that the pipe goes through the rubber roof.
As a result, I now have some water going through this join and into the shed.
In your experience, should this tape have withstood this water leak?
Now that the guttering issue is fixed - and I've had some water go through this joint - what do I need to do, in order to repair this please?
Thanks in advance.
