Erecting football stop netting in garden supported with round fencing posts and steel wire

Hi, I have pre-installed pipes for insertion of 10 cm dia. timber posts. See photo. I am buying 240 cm - 300 cm long posts on which I want to permanently mount ball-stop netting. From viewing commercial sites, I think I'll need steel wire to hold top and bottom of netting. At one end I'll be drilling into masonry. The other end will be mounted into side of a tree(?). I'll need 4 barrel strainers for the ends. What about mounting the wire and netting onto the posts though? Should I use carabiner snap hooks so that the wire (and netting to an extent) can move during wind, ball impact etc.? And steel eyes screwed onto posts for the actual netting. Anything I've forgotten?

Thanks in advance.
