extending two core and earth cable

Post by T001 » Sun Jun 24, 2007 11:41 am

hello there, can anyone please advise, i have a shaver light mounted on a non solid wall in the bathroom, above the washbasin and i want to move the light up to a higher position but the cable is not long enough.

can i extend the cable by using a cable connecter, cover with a chocbox and hide the connection behind the non solid wall or is it against regulations?

many thanks
