Falcon Continental Range Induction hob Rings Spontaneously Coming on Help, advice and problem solutions on all aspects of home appliances from washing machines to TV's

11 yrs old. Increasing. Come on from off with loud click. No heat of course. Was just one but now second beginning. Original one clicks madly on off and affects TV pic! V diff to get to settle by gingerly turning knob. Rear ring also sometimes comes on high heat tho set at 1.
Sound like Control board or summat?
A fix cost effective?

OK so dismantled range and found the control switches - 'energy regulator' as they're called - got an exact replacement and fixed it. Easy really when you find out how to access.
But still got a problem with faulty setting selection in 2 of the 5 rings...
