Faulty immersion thermostat?

by danhotrod » Sun Jun 10, 2007 10:12 pm

Evening all...

I'm having a spot of bother with a couple of things:

1. Even when my CH is turned off, my radiators are getting hot when the HW program comes on.

2. My mixer shower, which is fed from a shower pump, is only delivering hot water.

I suspect I need a new thermostat on my immersion heater. Are these two problems related? Any advice gratefully received!

no, they aint related to your thermostat on the emmersion. I assume you have a system boier and depending on what type of system you have , it sounds like a faulty diverter, two port or three port valve but you should get a heating engineer in to check your system
