Fitting a gas hob

Hello

I am fitting a gas hob. My old gas cooker has a flexible connection; will a similar connection be suitable for the gas hob?

No not normally, esp if above an oven, but check the MIs

please please call a gas safe registered engineer to do your hob,its the only legal way to know its safe
