Fitting a marble hearth

Post by al_hunter_1984 » Tue Aug 11, 2009 4:40 pm

Hi. I'm attempting to install a marble hearth that we've just bought from Wickes. I've done some searching around on Google and come across mainly American internet message boards referring to products I've never heard of and wouldn't know where I could buy them from in the UK.
The subfloor is concrete with about a 3-4mm self levelling latex over it. Can you guys suggest what I need to get to install the hearth...

I had assumed it might be some sort of mortar or cement or something along those lines, but now I'm not sure...

Thanks

Al
