fitting ceiling spotlights in kitchen

by ads » Sun Apr 01, 2007 5:25 pm

We plugged red into black and black into red. When we turned the mains back on the fuse blew and our electricity went down. We have now replaced the fuse wire but although everything else is up and running, none of the lights are.

Is there something we can do to rectify this problem? Is it just a question of re-wiring the light fitting in question?

Thanks for your help.

Please please see the projects section on replacing a light fitting. Electricity is very dangerous.
