fitting new patio doors

by sparky » Sat Oct 06, 2007 7:18 pm

i,ve just had new patio doors fitted and the end of the cill sits level with the external brick of the cavity wall. when this is rendered the cill will not over hang at all....is this a problem.
also it looks like the frame of the patio doors has been positioned between the cavity, shouldn't it be fastened/positioned to the outer skin of bricks?
any feedback will be appreciated.

the double glazing frame overhanges the cavity by 30m, which makes it hard to fix to the brickwork
