I've had the tray and shower door for nearly a year and only just getting round to fitting them as one of the last jobs on my £80,000 extension. Purchased the door because we liked it and have only just discovered that you can't fit this outward pivoting door onto a shower tray with upstands
The tray is fixed in and obviously neither it nor the door can be returned at this late stage.
Being an engineer I've thought of a way of maybe getting round this problem and wondered if anyone else has tried it.
My plan is at the edge where the door is to be fitted to tile inside the tray up to the height of the lip thus eliminating the problem of the outward pivoting door. Obviously I will be using an adhesive suitable for swimming pools and sealing the edges.
