Fixing batons to 4 inch garden concrete posts?

by colinuk1 » Sat Apr 23, 2016 12:31 pm

Hi all, hope you can help. I need to fix batons to 4" concrete garden posts. I've read that drilling is not the best idea as they could crumble, so would like to avoid that. Any ideas at all on how best to fix the batons to these posts?

use a grab adhesive, like pink grip, gripfill, or sticks like s*it.

Will that stuff be durable in outside weathers etc? I will also be hanging a bamboo screen off the batons. I had thought of a glue but didnt think any would be up to the job.

Sometimes the concrete post have holes pre-drilled - on the fence line sides.
Use Roofing bolts to attach these time wall plates.
