Hello,

I need to repair a split in my lead roof valley and was wondering, if I used flash band would it be a permanent fix?

Many thanks

you would need to apply it with a heat gun, which you could hire, then paint it with flexacryl or isoflex or similar

it is a self adhesive bitumen product there is no need to use a torch. Just prepare the surface to be dry and porous free, if porous you need to use a a primer. depending on the quality of the product usually the product will adhere at +5 degrees up to +45 degrees to almost all surfaces. if applied correctly it will solve your problem for the next 10 years or so. You also do not need to paint over as the aluminium is the protection.
