I am proposing to buy a Art Decoor style house with Flat roof and the roof may need chaning/replacing. I've been told that the life span of flat roof is about 10-15 years. Are these costly to replace? What is the average cost?

There are at least 3 ways of replacing a flat roof and they are all priced differently. It can be done in rubber, felt or fibreglass and the price depends on the size and the condition of the main roof surface (deck). If the deck needs replacing as well as the covering its a lot more expensive than just the covering. Its therefore impossible to guess at a price for yours I'm afraid.
