Hi,I`m just involved in the new build of a couple of self contained flats at my house and I`m at the screed floor or floating floor stage, as screeding appears to be quite a skilled pursuit I have opted to go for a wooden floating floor. The sub floor is of concrete laid over a dpm to a level of 150mm below dpc, the room widths are no more than 3m at the most so how can I fit the appropriate joists, insulation and ventilation in this space, just to complicate matters there is only one outside wall in this run of buildings and that is to one end. I also have a pedantic building control inspector so it has to conform to current regs... Many thanks if you can help...Ken hall
