Hi everybody, I wonder if someone can offer me some advice on floor levelling.
I am in the process of renovating a victorian terraced house. Originally, the bathroom was on the back of the kitchen but we have knocked through and built a new wall to extend the kitchen and turn the bathroom in to a shower room. This is all fine, but the floor in the new part of the kitchen is higher than the rest of the kitchen and there is a channel where the brick wall used to stand. There is a difference in height of about 20mm in some places.
The floors are all concrete, and the original kitchen floor is slightly wonky (I intended to level it with a latex compound). Once level, I am going to lay real wood flooring.
Does anyone have any advice on the best way to get a level floor?
Thanks in advance.
