Gap at top of tile tub surround

by nicole_C2000 » Wed Sep 08, 2010 2:43 am

So... My father in law started tiling around the tub before I was there, so he started from the bottom with full tiles instead of measuring and starting from the middle, so we would have even tiles on top and bottom. Now we have about an inch wide gap at the top (we were going to tile up to the ceiling). Is there any way I can layer a crown molding tile over the top edge of the top tile, or would I have to cut that tile down, and how would I do that?

nicole_C2000,
Most wheeled tile cutters will easily cut a 1" strip to fill the gap.
