I have been renting out my garden annex for around 5 years. I have kept all the paperwork on the tenants and also paid tax on my income.
when i built the annex i did not obtain planning permission.
if i apply under the 4 year rule for a cert of lawfulness, will i be able to sell the annex as a separate dwelling?
the annex has its own 3 meter pathway at the side of my detached house and along one side of the garden.
any advice is greatly appreciated
